ACCURACY: 5/5
These gloves are everything they say they are, and more. What isn’t mentioned (which I think should be) is that they are mixed with Kevlar for added abbrasion protection. They are also double stitched in all the stress points – the knuckle armour area, the palm, and the wrist areas are all reinforced with stitching and additional leather panels, making the glove truly fitted and strong. They’re not lying about the ‘preshaped ergonomic fit’, these gloves fit the contours of my hand perfectly and are designed for your hand to be slightly closed around the handlebars. The leather on the sides (the spaces between the fingers) is perforated for ventilation, as well as a perforated panel just above the wrist. There’s added padding for the first segments of your fingers, right after the knuckles, which makes sense as they would also likely graze the pavement during a fall.
SIZING: 5/5
I’m wearing a size SMALL, and I have pretty tiny hands. These gloves fit pretty well. They’re not skin tight, and they’re a little long in the fingers, but they fit my palm well enough that at a closed fist they are stretched.

CRASH TEST: 5/5
I was unlucky enough to be able to crash test these gloves on their first ride. I came off the bike on the low side, and slid a fair bit – the first thing that hit the pavement were my hands. If I hadn’t been wearing these gloves, I think my hands would have been destroyed. With them, I had not a single mark, scratch, scuff or bruise. The gloves have now been scuffed at the knuckles, with some of the leather scraped, and at the palm as well – I’m thankful it was the gloves and not my hand! The stitching stayed in tact, no damage otherwise and the gloves still look excellent. The temperfoam padding at the palm, wrist area, and upper knuckles definitely cushioned the fall.
OVERALL: 5/5
I can’t stop raving about these gloves! It seems that a whole lot of research and development time went into their creation and no detail was spared. Every placement of padding, reinforced stitching and gripping is well thought out and useful. The hard knuckles saved my hands during my fall, and the stitching kept the gloves looking like new after a lot of stress was placed on them. The temperfoam padding on the palms, upper knuckles, and sides of the gloves work well as a cushion. The perforated leather means that they’re breathable and your hands aren’t sticky and uncomfortable while riding. I absolutely love the rubber grip paint on the first and middle fingers for added grip on the levers. The adjustable velcro on the wrist makes these gloves a snug fit every time, and means you can also wrap them around your jacket if you have one that works with that. They’re perfectly designed for a slender woman’s hand, and the amount of panels and pieces mean these gloves are complex, no shortcuts were taken in ensuring a snug fit. They make these for men too, so if you need a bigger or wider fit, that option is also there.
I would recommend these gloves to anyone.
How much did you pay for the gloves? What site did you get them from. Looking for a pair for my wife. Seeing that you crash tested them is a “good” testimony for the product. However, it is unfortunate that that had to happen.
Hey Geoff,
The MSRP for the gloves are $89.99, you can buy them at any online gear site (just google the clove name, revzilla, motorcycle superstore, etc. sell them.)I have a list of online vendors here (http://ridingjezebel.com/2011/06/09/online-gear-shopping-sites/) and I’m sure a ton of them sell the gloves.
Note that if you’re Canadian, for some reason these gloves won’t ship to Canada. I had them shipped to Washington because I’m in Vancouver, and picked them up over the border.
